Episode Title: STELLAR: A New Miniseries feat. It’s Okay to be Smart, Physics Girl and Space Time | Teaser
Produced by: PBS Digital Studios
Description: Stellar is a miniseries that explores frontiers in space, science, and exploration featuring PBS Digital Studios’ most popular (and space loving) creators: Dianna Cowern (Physics Girl), Matt O’Dowd (Space Time) and Joe Hanson (It’s Okay to be Smart). This six episode miniseries is a cosmic road trip with our hosts visiting some of the most important astronomy research labs across America. These include the Mauna Kea Observatories, a spectacular array of 13 telescopes atop of Hawaii’s tallest mountain, and the LIGO Observatory in Washington that helped detect gravitational waves, allowing us to “hear” echoes of events that happened hundreds of millions or billions of years in the past. Stellar will tackle some of the biggest mysteries in astronomy and space exploration. Can we live anywhere else in our solar system? Is there intelligent life beyond Earth? Just how big is the universe really? This six episode miniseries launches on Thursday, 6/20 on the Space Time, Physics Girl and It’s Okay to be Smart YouTube channels, as well as the PBS Digital Studios Facebook page. Stellar is a part of PBS’ Summer of Space: https://www.pbs.org/summer-of-space/ #SummerOfSpacePBS
