His further investigation leads to the accidental absorption of Teth Adam AKA BLACK ADAM'S powers. Not only does Batman get his powers, but also his MADNESS. With Batman's cunning and fighting prowess combined with the magical powers of Black Adam, he quickly kills the Wizard Shazam's champion, Billy Batson. The Wizard selects Superman as his next champion as he has the greatest potential to defeat Bat-Adam before he conquerors the world. With the powers of Shazam now in his arsenal, Superman's weakness to magic and kryptonite is eliminated and his abilities are almost twice as powerful as before. He has become SUPER-SHAZAM.
