 In 2007 a theater group in London took it upon themselves to bring the classic Tintin adventure "Tintin in Tibet" to the stage. They performed a play called "Hergé's Adventures of Tintin". "Kuifje – De Zonnetempel" (English: "Tintin - The Temple of the Sun"), subtitled "De Musical", is a Belgian musical in two acts with music by Dirk Brossé, lyrics and scenario by Seth Gaaikema and Frank van Laecke, based on two of "The Adventures of Tintin" by Hergé: "The Seven Crystal Balls" (1948) and "Prisoners of the Sun" (1949). It premièred in Antwerp in 2001 in Dutch, and was translated into French and premièred a year later in Charleroi as "Tintin – Le Temple du Soleil". "The Adventures of Tintin" is a 1991/1992 animated TV show co-produced, written and animated in France by Ellipse Animation and in Canada by Nelvana International, based on "The Adventures of Tintin" by Belgian comic artist Georges Prosper Remi, more commonly known by his pen name Hergé.
